Greeting!
I joined the Monks approx 6 months ago via Facebook. Been posting there for a while and figured it was time I checked out the site and created my intro blog. Have not made it to a meeting yet (will hang head in shame for 8 seconds) but have had the opportunity to meet and brew with a couple of members. Looking forward to meeting more of you and attending\hosting some meetings!

A little about me, CO native grew up in Aurora. Brewing for approx 5 years now. All grain for two. I like a wide range of styles from Stout to IPA to sour to barrel aged and everything in between. Avery is definitely a fav of mine, I think Hog's nails the Barley Wine and I have yet to have an IPA that I enjoyed more than Maharaja. The demon series is pretty awesome too. I currently have an Imperial Chocolate Oatmeal Milk stout, Belgian Black IPA and a Pilsner fermenting. Looking forward to sharing at a meeting when they're ready.

If you have seen my posts on FB you'll know I recently built a 3 tier brew tower. I had been using a 'top of fridge\workbench\milk crate' tier system and it just wasn't cutting it any longer. I've attached pics so you can see rev.1 and v.2 of the setup. I'll have v.3 in a few weeks. There are definitely some adjustments to make like reducing the height, changing gas placement\reach, hanging stuff, etc....Click image for larger version.

That's it. Looking forward to meeting and brewing with more members!

Looking good Nick! I also started out the same way with the wired rack style. It started small and just kept growing?? Every time you brew you will go, "huh,,,, if I only make "this" change my rack will be sooo much better!" Keep up the good work and hopefully we will see you at a meeting soon!

P.S. I am also in Aurora and just finished my 1BBL system so if you wanna see a big system, pop over for a beer sometime, usually brew on sundays!
