Homebrewing has to be one of the most spectacular artforms (don't call it a hobby in front of me) someone can enjoy. We can make our beer whatever we want and I consider us far more innovative then commerical brewers...because we can. My favorite styles are Belgian in origin with the exception of Saisons and some Oud Bruins, but I love styles from most other countries as well (just biased towards Belgian).

Primary: "Alliteration" (12/12/12 semi sweet mead with Chardonnay yeast)
Conditioning: 9/11 Heaven Barleywine, Rhubarb Berliner Weisse, Perfect Match Porter
Enjoying / On Tap: Moo! (Steel toe milk stout clone), peanut butter cup stout, Rye-aled Up (roggenbier), and Jack-o-lantern (pumpkin spiced saison)
On Deck: "Wiser Bock" and "Obliteration" (westvbleteren 12 clone) or at least a kick ass quad since I have nothing to reference

So I screwed on the little spigot after the festivities of his wedding, leak, leak, then I got it right. Poured the little can of extract syrup and thought I

I know styles, guidelines, and personal taste can vary greatly and the envelope pushed. While nothing to me is set in stone and subject to change I got to thinking hanging out with my neighbors, what countries may the best beer and more importantly why? So here's an unabridged version of my reasoning and personal taste allowing some of you to get to know me even better before attending my first meeting.

Bronze: Call it a cop out, but I give a 2 way tie to 2 countries: our own
