Crazy Mountain Brewery Competition Feb 24 2012

    Hi Homebrewers!

Crazy Mountain Brewery in the Vail Valley (specifically Edwards, CO) is hosting our second annual Homebrew ProAm, open to all Colorado homebrewers. The premise is simple - instead of winning a medal, you will get a rare opportunity to scale up your unique recipe and brew a batch on our 17.5 BBL commercial brewing system! That is 30 full size kegs of your brew that we will pour in our tasting room and sell to our draft accounts in Colorado. You could be drinking your very own beer on draft at your local bar! Last year, we brewed 3 batches of the winner's beer, since it was so popular.

Please submit 2 bottles per style (unlimited number of styles) clearly labeled with:
    - Your first and last name
    - Cell phone number
    - Email address
    - Beer name
    - Beer style
    - ABV %

Drop off your samples to Crazy Mountain Brewery in Edwards by 5pm on February 24th. They will be judged by a panel of beer experts and the winner will be announced in the media on March 9th. The following week the winner will brew their batch on our commercial system and there will be a tapping party on March 30th.

Please email me or call 970-926-3009 with any questions. Good luck and happy homebrewing!

    That's actually pretty friggin cool!
Primary: "Alliteration" (12/12/12 semi sweet mead with Chardonnay yeast)
Conditioning: 9/11 Heaven Barleywine, Rhubarb Berliner Weisse, Perfect Match Porter
Enjoying / On Tap: Moo! (Steel toe milk stout clone), peanut butter cup stout, Rye-aled Up (roggenbier), and Jack-o-lantern (pumpkin spiced saison)
On Deck: "Wiser Bock" and "Obliteration" (westvbleteren 12 clone) or at least a kick ass quad since I have nothing to reference
