Ahh yes for the scores you have to login to your profile and then you'd see your entry/ies, PAID y/n, score, and if you won a category. Not sure if they're going to post judge tasting notes there or mail those out.

I'm going to use that site for other contests because who the heck wants to fill out the entry form and 2-4 separate bottle labels by hand?

Something was definitely off with the judging Andy - or it could have just been where it landed in the flight. The barrel porter only received a 31

I agree. I'm a huge fan of that collaboration brew, and not to let my bias get in the way, but I expected to see that in the headlines

Me too Jason. In it's first two comps, it received a silver and gold in category, as well as a 2nd place best of show.

I guess sometimes you win and sometimes you lose.

Yeah my Barleywine got a mere 20? I know it's young and didn't expect it to win anything (just looking for feedback), but I expected a 30 realistically. Not a showcase winner, but not a 20 either.

So what did the collaboration brew get this time around? I'm with Jason and love that sweet nectar.
Primary: "Alliteration" (12/12/12 semi sweet mead with Chardonnay yeast)
    Secondary:
Conditioning: 9/11 Heaven Barleywine, Rhubarb Berliner Weisse, Perfect Match Porter
Enjoying / On Tap: Moo! (Steel toe milk stout clone), peanut butter cup stout, Rye-aled Up (roggenbier), and Jack-o-lantern (pumpkin spiced saison)
On Deck: "Wiser Bock" and "Obliteration" (westvbleteren 12 clone) or at least a kick ass quad since I have nothing to reference
    Projects:

The collaboration and barrel porter are one in the same. I'm going to enter it into the Vail big beer comp and see if this round was a fluke.

If you are wondering, the scoresheets were mailed out today. Curiosity got the best of me and I emailed FOTR

Not sure if it was intentional or by design but I was sent Andy Nelson, Alex Gearhart and Tim Flannery score sheets along with mine. I should be at the meeting Saturday if you want to meet up, or you are welcome to come by here and get them.
